How to Shop Your Own Wardrobe in 20 Minutes
Before you buy another cardigan, try spending twenty minutes shopping the wardrobe you already have.

Most of us know exactly what's missing from our wardrobe. Far fewer of us know what's already in it. Before you buy another cardigan, another pair of black trousers, or another "goes with everything" top, try spending twenty minutes shopping your own wardrobe. You may be surprised by what you find.
Pull out three forgotten pieces
Choose three items you haven't worn in the last six months. Not because they don't fit. Not because they're damaged. Simply because you've forgotten they exist. These are your Forgotten Treasures.
Ask one simple question
Instead of asking "Why don't I wear this?" — ask "What would make me wear this tomorrow?" Sometimes the answer is as simple as different shoes, a favourite scarf, or a jacket you never thought to pair with it.
Build one new outfit
Challenge yourself to create one combination you've never worn before. Take a photo. You don't have to wear it today. Just prove to yourself it's possible.
Notice what you love
Pay attention to the colours that make you smile, the fabrics you enjoy wearing, the shapes that feel comfortable, and the pieces that still feel like you. Style confidence starts with noticing, not buying.
Create a maybe rail
Set aside a small space for clothes you're reconsidering. Not keep. Not donate. Just maybe. Give yourself permission to revisit them later.
The goal isn't to reinvent your wardrobe in twenty minutes. The goal is to see it with fresh eyes. Because sometimes the piece you've been looking for isn't in a shop at all. It's hanging quietly in your wardrobe, waiting to be rediscovered.
